The iPod touch resembles an iPhone without the phone, the camera, and the waistline. Like the iPhone, the iPod touch has a large, touch-sensitive screen that you use to control most of its functions, from playing back songs and videos to surfing the web via a wirless network and sending mail.
The iPod touch has an on/off button on the top, a volume rocker button on the side, and the Home button below the screen. It has a minimalist built-in speaker that's just about adequate for games, but you'll want to use headphones or external speakers for listening to any audio you want to hear well.
The iPod touch may resembles the iPhone but it is marginally smaller and substantially slimmer.
