There's a great many advanced computer games today than it was a few years ago. Some game players still like to play computer games today.
The first computer game was a version of tic-tac-toe that was created in 1952 by A.S. Douglas, a Cambridge University doctoral student who wrote the program as part of his PhD dissertation (a final, long paper that all doctoral candidates need to complete to earn their degrees) on the interaction between people and computers.
Then in the early 1960s, advancements in computer technology made it possible for computer games to emerge as an amusement for nonscientists. Originally programmer communicated with computers using punch cards and reading the results of calculations on printouts from teletype machines. Computer monitors came into use in the 1960s. At time, however, they were only available at universities.
